Woodlands of Liberty in Wadsworth, OH is seeking a Recreation Assistant to engage residents in social and recreational activities, promoting well-being and meaningful daily engagement.

You will plan and implement activities, maintain records, and work with staff to provide holistic resident care. A high school diploma and a genuine interest in elder care are required, with opportunities for growth and daily Pay available.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents in social, physical, and cognitive activities and tailor activities to individual needs and abilities.
• Plan, organize, and implement a variety of social and recreational activities and programs.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation.
• Transport residents to activities and assist with setup and cleanup of spaces.
• Coordinate with other staff to ensure holistic resident care.
• Perform other duties to provide exceptional care to residents.

What You'll Do

• Support and motivate residents to engage in social, physical, and cognitive activities and adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of individual residents.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of social and recreational activities and programs for residents.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of activities and resident participation.
• Transport residents to and from activities as needed and assist with the setup and cleanup of activity spaces.
• Coordinate with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
