Job summary

Genesis Healthcare is seeking an Activity Assistant to plan, organize, and implement engagement activities for patients and residents, addressing their physical, creative, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs.

You will document attendance, participate in care plan meetings, and collaborate with the care team to enrich daily living and well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and wellbeing of patients and visitors.

Who You Are

• Well-developed organizational abilities and record keeping skills.
• Able to positively engage with personnel, resident/patients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public.

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors and respond to their medical and physical needs.
