Job summary

MissionCare at Bennington is seeking a Therapeutic Recreation Assistant to plan and run therapeutic social and cognitive activities, trips, and events for residents. The role requires experience in delivering therapeutic programs for seniors or disabled adults in a clinical setting, plus English proficiency.

Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Director is preferred; collaboration across disciplines is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have experience running and implementing therapeutic programs, activities and events for seniors or physically/ mentally challenged adults in a clinical setting.
• Must be able to work with all disciplines in a challenging multi-cultural environment that target specific behavioral and/or patient groups as needed.
