Job summary

Stadium Place Rehab in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Activities Assistant for a long-term care facility. You will plan, organize and direct the activity program to support residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in line with regulations.

Responsibilities include facilitating group activities, assisting with 1-on-1 activities, transporting residents, organizing supplies, coordinating outings and events, and collaborating with all disciplines while maintaining confidentiality and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years’ experience in Activities Department in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

• Facilitate group activities.
• Encourage activity involvement and chart attendance.
• Assist in keeping activity supplies clean and organized.
• Assist with 1 on 1 activities, transport residents to and from activities.
• Assist with outings and special events and other assigned duties.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Compliance with confidentiality, HIPPA and Federal Residents Rights.
