Momentum at South Bay for Nursing and Rehabilitation is urgently seeking a Per Diem Recreation Aide to support resident daily activities and events.

The role requires an upbeat, reliable individual who can work well on a team and bring creativity to group activities such as arts, music, readings, or dance. Strong communication and flexible availability, including some weekends and evenings, are essential.

Momentum at South Bay for Nursing and Rehabilitation is urgently seeking a Per Diem Recreation Aide.

• Outgoing, warm, and caring personality
• Ability to create a program to get Residents involved and excited
• Dependable, Reliable and able to supervise activities, special events for the Residents
• Creative talents in one or more areas such as art, music, readings, dance, etc
• Demonstrates good listening and communication skills and follow through.
• Interest and experience in Music are a plus!

*Preferred two years' experience in recreation in a geriatric setting, ability to work effectively as a team member

Requirements:

• A high school diploma and certain certifications may be required.
• More education or experience with nursing homes, short-term rehabilitation, recreational activities, event planning, or related may be preferred.
• Physical fitness's, ability to walk, dance, stand, lift, or meet other physical demands.
• Adaptability and strong organization and time management skills.
• Excellent resource management and record-keeping
• Patience and compassion when dealing with others, especially those who are sick, injured, elderly, or from different backgrounds.
• Flexibility to work when needed, especially some evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to adhere to and enforce all safety policies and procedures.

Job Type: Per diem

Salary: $24.65 per hour

Schedule: Availability Weekends 9-5
