Job summary

The City of Plano is seeking a friendly Recreation Aide (20 hours) to join our Parks and Recreation team. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work in a community-focused environment.

No experience is necessary; training and certifications are provided at no cost. You will assist patrons, support programs, and help maintain a welcoming facility. This position includes TMRS retirement eligibility and other employee benefits.

Our Recreation Aides are the front line of our facilities. They are the first contact for our patrons and set the tone for their experience. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude that includes above and beyond customer service, professionalism, knowledge of the City of Plano, excellent phone skills, outstanding communication skills, and accurate typing and computer skills.

Part-time Benefits

• Regular, part-time, 20+ hours per week; eligible for vacation accrual based on hours worked.
