Air Combat Command at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho is seeking an outdoor recreation staffer in a flexible, non-advantaged position. The role involves supporting scheduled programs, handling reservations and payments, and ensuring equipment readiness.

You will help set up recreation areas, operate motor vehicles to move patrons and gear, and maintain safety and facility standards while providing friendly customer service to participants.

Responsibilities

• Sets up recreation areas for scheduled activities; records attendance; takes reservations and payment for trips and tours; notifies participants of schedule changes; arranges equipment or tools, charging them out to participants, and checking them for condition on their return. Provides essential logistical support by staging, loading, and unloading gear and supplies for scheduled programs.
• Operates motor vehicles (MVO) to safely transport patrons, staff, and equipment to and from designated recreational sites. Issues, cleans, and maintains recreation equipment and assists with general facility upkeep.
• Checks the established safety system of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and areas, tools, and equipment, answers inquiries about item, place, transportation, or other matters related to activities scheduled; takes inventory of authorized recreation supplies and equipment; and helps with group activities which require more than one staff monitor, performing specifically assigned tasks. Performs other related duties as assigned.

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation at Mountain Home AFB, ID. This is a Flexible position with no guaranteed hours, however may work up to 40 hours per week. This position does not offer benefits..
