Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation & Nursing in Morristown, New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Recreation/Activities Aide to join our vibrant Activities Department. You will help create engaging experiences that support residents' social, emotional, and physical well-being.

In this role you will plan and run activities, coordinate calendars, collaborate with care teams, and foster a welcoming environment for residents and families, delivering high-quality care and meaningful engagement

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize, and implement recreational activities for residents, including games, arts and crafts, exercise classes, and entertainment events
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive activities calendar to ensure a diverse program for residents
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address social, emotional, and physical needs of residents
• Assist with creating a welcoming environment for residents, including decorating common areas and planning special events
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, and families to ensure satisfaction and care
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and adjust for engagement and satisfaction

As a key member of our Activities Department, you will play a vital role in creating a fulfilling and engaging experience for our residents, promoting their social, emotional, and physical well-being.
