Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Driver for our Jamison, PA facility. This is a 1099 contract position with PRN hours, as needed, to transport clients for admits, discharges, and appointments.

Responsibilities include documenting and delivering external paperwork and lab specimens, engaging clients during transport, and maintaining the vehicle. Must have a valid driver’s license, strong communication and time-management skills, and a recovery-focused demeanor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in treatment industry preferred.
• Current and valid state-issued driver’s license is required.
• Strong communication and time-management skills are essential.
• Dignified, respectable character reflecting recovery principles.
• Extensive knowledge of motor vehicle laws.

Responsibilities

• Monitor transportation schedule and safely transport clients for admit, discharge and appointments.
• Collect and deliver external appointment documentation and lab specimens as necessary.
• Engage clients on peer support level during transport and assist with luggage.
• Ensure vehicle is well-maintained, fueled, and ready for use at all times.
• Assist with custodial and maintenance duties when not actively transporting.
