Job summary

Adult & Teen Challenge AR is seeking an Addiction Recovery Technician to support mental health professionals in client monitoring and services coordination. The role requires maintaining documentation in the EMR, participating in treatment planning, and providing crisis interventions as needed.

You will work with clients, families, and health care professionals, ensuring privacy, safety, and adherence to state guidelines while supporting treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field (Social Work, Psychology, Education)
• CNA, CIT, Peer Support Specialist Certifications preferred
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
• Must have essential computer skills and ability to use the EHR
• Must pass drug and nicotine tests
• Certifications required per Arkansas state guidelines and company policies
• Complete required trainings and certification exams

Responsibilities

• Complete trainings and pass certification exam.
• Coordinate with professional staff for client monitoring and mental health services.
• Develop activities using the Master Treatment Plan.
• Provide crisis services and immediate assessments.
• Document progress notes and ensure accuracy in EMR.
• Attend agency trainings and comply with safety policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and dress code compliance.
• Assist with transportation and referrals to other agencies.
• Provide timely documentation and billable services per guidelines.
