Cowlitz Family Health Center is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist to support clients in their recovery journey within a residential setting. The role emphasizes building respectful relationships, ensuring client safety, coordinating medical appointments and providing transportation as needed.

The Recovery Support Specialist, as part of the substance use disorder treatment team, is responsible for developing respectful, professional relationships with clients that assist them in being successful in their journey to recovery in the residential setting. Recovery Support Specialists provide for the safety of clients, oversee medication calls, and other activities in the residential setting, coordinate client medical and other appointments, and provide transportation for clients (if needed).

Wage Range: $18.50-$19.92 per hour

Schedule: Friday - Monday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

FTE: 0.8

This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement.

Requirements

• Must be a confident, self-directed individual who can work within a team as well as independently
• Strong communication, organization, documentation and record keeping skills necessary.
