Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred (GED acceptable).
• Minimum 6 months experience in health and human services preferred.
• Ability to adhere to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 within one week of hire.
• Excellent ver­bal and written communication; professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive care to meet individuals’ needs and promote dignity.
• Observe wellbeing, perform wellness checks, and document changes.
• Monitor self-administration of medications per policies.
• Support wellness/educational activities and assist with recreational activities.
• Assist with meal preparation and room setup for new admissions.
• Report safety, security, or maintenance issues promptly.
• Use crisis intervention and overdose prevention techniques as needed.
• Complete shift reports and incident documentation timely.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
