Qualifications

• Preferred knowledge of HCPCS, Diagnosis, and CPT codes.
• High School diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• Experience with client systems is advantageous.
• HB (Institutional) or PB (Professional) Epic experience preferred.

In this role, you will be responsible for verifying billable health insurance, obtaining claim status via telephone calls, utilizing payer portals for status inquiries and submitting reconsiderations/appeals, as well as accurately entering information into the appropriate systems. Training will be provided, covering entry-level tasks and ongoing programs to stay updated on changing reimbursement strategies of health insurance providers.
