Kreate Talent is seeking compassionate Recovery Support Specialists for a Sobering Center in Albuquerque, NM. Join a team dedicated to providing a safe, structured environment to support individuals in stabilization and recovery.

Responsibilities include monitoring safety, conducting rounds, crisis intervention, and linking clients with community resources. Certifications in NM peer support and CPR/First Aid are preferred; NM driver's license required. Lived recovery experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and behavioral health.
• Experience working with substance use populations preferred.
• New Mexico Peer Support Specialist certification or willingness to pursue certification.
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Valid New Mexico driver's license with a good driving record.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and crisis management skills.
• Individuals with lived recovery experience are encouraged to apply.

• Conduct regular observation rounds using RFID monitoring technology.
• Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation and emotional support.
• Screen clients for individual needs and readiness for change.
• Assist with assessments, referrals and connections to community resources.
• Collaborate with medical and behavioral health professionals.
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming facility.
• Assist with transportation and emergency response as needed.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Recovery Support Specialists to join our team at a Sobering Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role focuses on supporting individuals experiencing substance use and behavioral health challenges by ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment during stabilization and recovery.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience up to $21 an hour

Primary Responsibilities

• Flexible Shifts – Days (7 AM–3 PM), Evenings (3 PM–11 PM), and Nights (11 PM–7 AM), Including Some Weekends.
