Chimes' Residential Recovery Program in Aston, PA is seeking a Recovery Specialist. You will guide residents in daily living skills, self‑care, budgeting, and medication education to support independence.

This part‑time role includes weekend shifts from 3:00 PM‑11:00 PM and 11:00 PM‑7:00 AM, with light housekeeping and meal prep. You will work in a small, supportive team and transport residents as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 1 year of human services experience or equivalent
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Compassionate, flexible, recovery‑oriented mindset
• Comfort with managing a small caseload of 4–5 residents
• Valid driver's license and willingness to transport residents

Responsibilities

• Guide residents through daily living skills including self‑care, budgeting, and medication education
• Provide supportive, recovery‑oriented counseling based on best practices
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation to maintain a welcoming home
• Transport residents to appointments and activities using program van
• Administer medications following DPW standards
• Respond calmly in crisis moments and maintain safety
• Keep accurate documentation and billable service records
• Advocate for residents and model healthy communication and conflict resolution
• Collaborate with program coordinator and team to support individual goals

Aston, PA | $18/hour | Part-Time

Make a real difference in people's recovery journeys. As a Recovery Specialist with Chimes' Residential Recovery Program, you'll walk alongside residents as they rebuild daily living skills, work toward independence, and create healthier futures - all in a small, supportive team environment with a manageable caseload of 4-5 residents.

Shifts Available

Every other weekend:

• Saturday-Sunday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
• Saturday-Sunday, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Guide residents through daily living skills - self-care, budgeting, and medication education
• Provide supportive, recovery-oriented counseling grounded in best practices
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming home through light housekeeping and meal prep
• Drive residents to appointments and activities using a program van
• Administer medications in line with DPW standards
• Respond calmly and confidently in crisis moments
• Keep accurate documentation and billable service records
• Advocate for residents and model healthy communication and conflict resolution
• Partner with your program coordinator and team to support each resident's individual goals
