Job summary

The Recovery Specialist at Beth Israel Lahey Health Behavioral Services in Lowell, MA, is a per diem, part-time role within Hart House, a 24-hour residential program for pregnant and parenting women recovering from addiction. You will support clients and families through recovery, collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor, and help ensure safety and documentation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, and preferably experience with substance use populations, plus a valid MA

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with substance use population is preferred.
• Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing support to women & families throughout the stages of their recovery.
• Collaborates with the Clinical Supervisor and fellow colleagues to ensure client progress.
• Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor.
• Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
• Observes and supervises buildings and grounds.
• Provides transportation to families as necessary.

Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
