Centerstone in Columbus, Indiana is hiring a Recovery Specialist for a full-time role at our 24/7 CCBHC program. You will assist clients with daily living activities, monitor and document behaviors, and help plan therapeutic recreation under supervision.

Responsibilities include front desk coverage, administrative support, and helping clients access housing, transportation and entitlements. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Observe and document medication administration as per treatment plan.
• Assist in census management, admissions, and discharges.
• Support clients in life skills, housing, transportation, and entitlements.

Come talk to us about joining the Centerstone team!**JOB DESCRIPTION:****SUMMARY OF POSITION**Assists clients with daily living activities and tracks, monitors and documents client behaviors and interactions. Assists in planning therapeutic recreation for groups, and may lead individual and group activities with clients. Completes day-to-day program tasks, monitors clients and the program facility to ensure safety and compliance with program guidelines. Serves as the point of contact by providing coverage of the front desk, reception area, and phone systems. Provides administrative and program support for the staff and residents.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*** Assists clinical staff in meeting and monitoring the client’s medical and health care needs by observing and documenting client compliance with medication regimes as dictated in the treatment plan.* Assists in the implementation of agency programs as specified by supervisor. Facilitates group activities according to program schedule and implements individualized care plans as developed by the treatment team.* Assists clients in learning how to meet basic needs, including activities such as: medication management, developing life skills (i.e. cooking, money management, cleaning, and parenting), pursuing recreational and leisure activities, housing, transportation, legal, medical and financial assistance, and securing appropriate entitlements.* Assists in census management, admissions, and discharges.**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES*** Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.**QUALIFICATIONS****Education Level**High school diploma or GED required.
