Clients are provided with the medical and emotional support that they need during the one of the most pivotal stages in the recovery process. Services include individual case management and group treatment services focused on assisting the client with accessing step-down levels of care. The Recovery Specialist position is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction.The Recovery Specialist’s Responsibilities Are:Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activitiesObserves and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30 minute client well-being checkConducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions dutiesSearches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisorCompletes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and proceduresQualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Experience working with substance use population is preferredValid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferredPay Range:$20.00 – $24.38The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
