Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Patient Team Support (CNA) in the Recovery Room for a full-time, evening position. The hourly pay range is $23.33–$35.02, with the rate dependent on education, training, and experience, and negotiated by a collective bargaining agreement where applicable.

The role requires WA CNA certification and BLS, with preferred prior CNA or unit secretary experience. You will support nursing staff, manage unit clerical duties, and contribute to a safe, patient-centered environment

Qualifications

• Active CNA in Washington state is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
• Preferred prior CNA experience and unit secretary or related experience

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within the CNA scope as directed by the RN
• Perform assigned CNA tasks per unit policies and procedures
• Communicate significant changes in a patient’s status to the care team
• Assist with admission, discharge and transfer coordination when applicable
• Handle unit clerical duties and maintain patient confidentiality
• Monitor and restock unit supplies; maintain safety and infection control standards
• Demonstrate age-appropriate care planning and communication with patients and families
