Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Mansfield, TX, is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for Recovery and Wellness at the Addiction Recovery Center. This PRN role involves rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays, with six shifts every six weeks and two weekend shifts.

The RN III duties include coordinating quality patient care in a multidisciplinary team. The position requires a Nursing Diploma or an Associate degree in Nursing, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate degree required
• BSN preferred
• BCLS prior to hire
• BCPMHN upon hire required
• ACPI required within 30 days of hire
• One-year clinical nurse experience or RN residency completion required
• One-year Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred
• RN must practice per Texas Nurse Practice Act and coordinate quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Deliver care using the Nursing Process
• Assess the patient
• Plan for patient care
• Implement interventions as appropriate
• Evaluate effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporate age-specific safety and infection control measures
• Maintain continuity of patient care across shifts and transfers
