The Independent Contractor - Recovery Division will offer consultative support to our clients and assist with recovery projects, working with leadership to solve problems and meet client needs. This posting is being used to build a talent pipeline for potential future openings across our emergency management – recovery function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a relevant field, or 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 1 year of demonstrated experience with FEMA Public Assistance (PA) and/or Individual Assistance (IA) policies.
• Strong critical thinking to analyze complex situations and solve problems while managing multiple tasks.
• Team player with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).

Responsabilités

• Support clients through the cycle of recovery projects, offering FEMA PA and/or IA policy expertise as requested.
• Facilitate meetings with clients, provide project updates, generate reports, and deliver feedback.
• Produce and maintain internal documents for various emergency management and recovery operations.
• Support project management by tracking assignments against deadlines and milestones, and maintaining visibility of status and progress.
