Job summary

Recovery Corps is housed within Minnesota Council of Nonprofits. AmeriCorps members serve as Recovery Project Coordinators, advancing recovery initiatives in communities.

You’ll help with research, data collection, focus groups, health campaigns, and volunteer mobilization while engaging in ongoing training and professional development. The program runs 2026-2027, with full-time schedules, daytime hours, and a biweekly paycheck.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to understand and follow instructions.
• Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule, depending on the agreed upon hours commitment.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

• Support projects such as: Facilitating research and data collection, Leading focus groups, Advancing health campaigns, Mobilizing volunteers, Creating education campaigns, Conducting training on pathways to recovery.
