Job summary

Ampact’s Recovery Corps program is seeking a Recovery Project Coordinator in Worthington, MN. You will support local nonprofits and public agencies to advance recovery services, engage communities, collect data, and coordinate volunteers.

We offer training, growth opportunities, and comprehensive benefits for AmeriCorps members. The program year runs Sept 2026–July 2027, with 40 hours per week Monday–Friday and daytime hours.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English for speaking, reading and writing.
  • Able to understand and follow instructions.
  • Proficient with basic computer tools (email, online navigation).
  • Able to maintain a service schedule and meet hours commitments.
  • Citizen or eligible for background check in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Support projects such as facilitating research and data collection.
  • Lead focus groups and assist with health campaigns.
  • Mobilize volunteers and help create education campaigns.
  • Conduct training on pathways to recovery and assist at program sites.
  • Commit to professional development and share experiences with the community.

Position Summary

Help make recovery possible for more people. Our communities are facing an opioid epidemic, and local organizations need your help to address this crisis.

Join Recovery Corps as a Recovery Project Coordinator and you’ll spend your days at a non-profit organization or public agency committed to serving recovery communities. We’ll train you to help your service site reach more people in the community and support you every step of the way!

How does it work? You’ll take on projects that contribute to your service site’s goals, focusing on community engagement, data collection, project coordination, volunteer mobilization, or workforce development. With your time and support, organizations can maximize their impact and bring services to more people in need!

Essential Qualifications

By the time you begin your service with Recovery Corps, you should be:

  • Dependable and have a history of good attendance
  • Able to understand and follow instructions
  • Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule, depending on the agreed upon hours commitment
  • Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
  • Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
  • 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
  • Able to successfully complete a background check
Perks Package
Schedule

We are currently hiring for the 2026-27 program year. Positions run September 2026–July 2027.

  • 40 hours per week
  • Daytime hours
  • Monday-Friday
  • Time off on holidays

Part-time positions are also available at 25 hours per week!

Pay & Benefits

Full-time AmeriCorps members receive a paycheck (stipend) every two weeks. Compensation: $16.24 per hour served and additional perks!
