Qualifications

• Self-identify as a current or former consumer of behavioral health or substance use services.
• Must complete a state-approved training program and pass certification within 60 days of hire.
• Valid driver license and minimum auto coverage required.

Responsibilities

• Share your recovery story to model healthy coping.
• Help individuals identify strengths and recovery goals.
• Provide encouragement, accountability, and connection to resources.
• Support navigation of treatment and building natural supports.
• Participate in team meetings and wellness planning.
• Assist with transportation to appointments; driving is an essential function.
• Collect urine drug screens per program protocols.
• Engage in required state certification training, supervision, and certification process.
