Job summary

The position requires lived experience, a high school diploma, peer certification or eligibility, and a valid driver’s license with few points.

Qualifications

• Openly identifies as someone with lived experience of using mental health and/or substance use services.
• Active engagement in self-care to support recovery.
• Minimum of 1 year in recovery required.

Responsibilities

• Assist peers by using WRAP to identify safe wellness tools and crisis plans.
• Support peers in working with their case manager to set self-directed recovery goals.
• Model recovery competencies and teach self-advocacy to peers and staff.
• Complete documentation within 48 hours of service delivery for supervisor review.
• Meet productivity standards and maintain Clinical Record Handbook compliance.
