Job summary

Santa Fe Recovery Center, Inc. in Gallup, NM, is seeking a CCBHC Peer Support Worker to provide peer-based recovery support within an interdisciplinary treatment team.

You will assist clients in crises, facilitate peer-led groups, and connect them with community resources while maintaining professional boundaries and timely documentation.

Evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts are required; valid NM driver's license and CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse populations.
• Strong HIPAA and confidentiality practices.
• Ability to document accurately in EHR systems.
• Experience with behavioral health and addiction topics.
• Lived recovery experience preferred.
• Valid NM drivers license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer-based recovery support to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
• Respond to crises and assist with relapse prevention.
• Facilitate peer-led groups and recovery activities.
• Liaise with families and outside resources to coordinate care.
• Attend weekly clinical meetings and supervision.
• Document services in the Electronic Health Record.
