Avenues Recovery Center on the Eastern Shore is currently hiring a Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our Cambridge, MD team. You will provide quality medical care during admission, treatment, and discharge, while coordinating pharmacy needs and documenting care. This role emphasizes patient education and collaboration with medical and UR teams.

We welcome nurses from behavioral health, detox, med-surg, corrections, LTC, or related fields who value recovery-centered care and compassionate patient support.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN licensure to practice in-state or compact licensure with multistate privileges.
• Minimum one year diploma program post-high school.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask.
• Compassionate, dignified character modeling recovery principles.

Responsabilités

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge.
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs.
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.
