Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Cambridge, MD is hiring compassionate Nurses (RN/LPN) to join our team at a 100-bed residential facility offering detox and inpatient rehabilitation services.

Role requires at least a diploma program and current RN/LPN licensure; strong communication, detail-orientation, and multitasking are essential as you coordinate care and maintain logs while educating clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year diploma program post-high school.
• Current RN or LPN licensure in-state or compact licensure with multistate privileges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Compassionate character aligned with recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge.
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.
