Job summary

Department for Persons with Disabilities is seeking a Part-Time Residential Life Associate to supervise and support clients in a structured treatment setting. The role involves 30-minute safety rounds, shift-based supervision, and collaboration with clinical staff to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining high visibility, enforcing schedules, documenting client behavior in EHR, and ensuring proper safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED with experience in the social service or health field.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license with points not to exceed five; must drive agency vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and support to clients at all times.
• Maintain high visibility in client areas to provide structure and supervision.
• Document client behavior and rounds using EHR in compliance with policies.
• Escort and monitor clients between units and to appointments as assigned.
• Ensure all documentation is complete and stored in client charts.
