Job summary

Healing with Dignity, Recovery with Purpose. seeks a Cook to prepare meals for patients in accordance with FDA Food Code standards and dietary guidelines, supporting the recovery environment with nourishing food and reliable service.

The role requires 2+ years cooking experience, a Food Protection Manager Certification (or plan to obtain within 90 days), and a commitment to a drug-free lifestyle. Salary is $18.00–$21.00 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; or relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Cook.
• Food Protection Manager Certification (or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare a variety of dishes.
• Interest or passion for substance use recovery is a plus.
• Must be committed to drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals based on established menus and recipes
• Ensure food is visually appealing and meets dietary requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
• Monitor food supplies and assist with inventory and rotation
• Support food prep for catered functions or special events
• Participate in kitchen sanitation and food safety procedures
• Follow infection control and workplace safety standards
