Job summary

Rosecrance Champaign-Moreland is hiring to supervise residents and support recovery in daily living within a safe, therapeutic environment. The role involves coordinating activities, education, and documentation while ensuring a high standard of care and confidentiality for clients and families.

You will work onsite Tuesday through Saturday, supporting a team that delivers evidence-based behavioral health services and strives for lasting recovery for individuals and their loved ones.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must qualify as an RSA per Illinois DMH Rule 132.
  • Skilled in behavioral management techniques.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Ability to navigate and complete documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Ability to complete required documentation within time frames.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency insurance requirements.
  • Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage resident behavior and apply appropriate interventions.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and develop independent living skills.
  • Develop and present resident education.
  • Consult with staff and plan daily therapeutic direction for shift.
  • Facilitate focal group discussions if designated.
  • Attend treatment plan reviews, shift meetings and relevant committees.
  • Ensure client service records comply with regulations.
  • Monitor self-administration of medicine by residents if designated.
  • Oversee house cleanliness, resident chores, and equipment use.
  • Participate as a team member in meetings and activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality under Code of Conduct and law.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to every customer.
  • Serve as a role model for staff and clients, upholding Rosecrance values.

Position Purpose

Directly supervise clients. Participate as a team member in the delivery of treatment services to clients and their families and to facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the behavior of the residents and provide appropriate behavioral interventions and consequences.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and facilitate development of independent living skills.
  • Responsible for developing and presenting all resident education.
  • Consult with other staff members and plan daily therapeutic direction for designated shift.
  • May facilitate focal group discussion sessions.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings of staff, such as treatment plan reviews, shift meetings or appropriate committee meetings as designated.
  • Ensure that client service records are maintained consistent with regulations.
  • If designated, monitor self-administration of medicine by residents and record information on medical log.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of the house, resident house jobs, and the proper use of equipment and supplies.
  • Serve as a member of the assigned team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
  • Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the Code of Conduct and with the framework of the law.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
  • Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance

Tuesday through Saturday 830a-5pm

Compensation & Rewards
  • Starting Pay (based on education, experience, and credentials)
    • HS/GED - $18.43 per hour
    • Associate’s - $19.37 per hour
    • Bachelor’s - $20.25 per hour
