Job summary

Prevention Links in Roselle, NJ, seeks a Recovery High School Transition Coordinator to lead the RHS program, oversee admissions, and coordinate student transitions and post-secondary planning. The role requires NJ licensure (LCSW/LPc/LMFT/LCADC or SAC) and a master's degree in mental health or human services, plus at least three years' experience with adolescent substance use.

Salary ranges from $60,000 to $62,000 annually, with full-time hours and on-site responsibilities; the position also

Qualifications

• Licensed NJ clinician in one of the specified professions.
• Master’s degree in a recognized mental health discipline/human service.
• Experience in collegiate recovery or a high school environment.
• 3+ years’ experience with adolescent substance abuse and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Field referrals and determine eligibility for RHS program.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments for RHS readiness.
• Coordinate admission decisions and notify families.
• Assist students and families in transition to RHS.
• Develop post-secondary recovery plans with students.
• Monitor student progress and follow up after return.
• Recruit and supervise program staff in collaboration with the Director.
• Coordinate onboarding and training for team members.

Master’s Degree in a recognized mental health discipline/human service

New Jersey licensed clinical social worker

New Jersey licensed professional counselor

Licensed marriage and family therapist

New Jersey licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor

Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor
