Job summary

Paradigm Recovery Centers is seeking a Group Facilitator to provide structured group counseling and psychoeducational services for clients in intensive outpatient and partial hospital settings. You will guide clients through evidence-based interventions to enhance insight, coping skills, and long-term change.

The role focuses on facilitating groups, collaborating with clinical staff, and maintaining compliant documentation in a clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field required.
• Missouri state licensure or credential as LPC, LCSW, PLPC, CADC, or equivalent preferred (or actively pursuing certification).
• Experience facilitating substance use or mental health groups in ASAM Level 2.1 or 2.5 settings strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily or scheduled group sessions focused on substance use recovery, relapse prevention, life skills, and co-occurring issues.
• Implement evidence-based practices such as CBT, MI, DBT, or trauma-informed approaches in group facilitation.
• Support clients in developing individualized treatment goals in collaboration with clinical staff.
• Observe, document, and report client participation, progress, and behavior to the treatment team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency, state, and insurance standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to treatment planning and review.
• Uphold ethics, confidentiality, and professional conduct as outlined by state and federal regulations (including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2).
• Deliver culturally responsive and person-centered services to meet diverse client needs.
