Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a Peer Specialist to provide peer support, case management and advocacy for residents in our Fort Lyon program. The role emphasizes leveraging lived experience to promote recovery, personal growth, and active engagement in services.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, flexible hours, and completion of credentialing. We offer comprehensive benefits and a pay range of $20.64 - $25.14 per hour.

Qualifications

• Recipient of mental health, substance treatment, or homeless services with lived experience.
• Must be able to role model recovery and support others.
• Must pass credentialing and privileging process.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group peer support and advocacy for residents.
• Conduct routine checks and coordinate with case management.
• Provide transportation for needs not met by local transit.
• Participate in program activities and team meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information; document in HMIS.
