Job summary

Sauna House Summerville is seeking a Massage Therapist who treats the body and nervous system, aligning with Enlightened Hospitality to help guests recover through heat, cold, and rest.

You will tailor each session based on intake, coordinate with Guest Service Coordinators for seamless transitions, and uphold cleanliness and ambiance of your treatment sanctuary. Evening and weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of desired experience.
• Active State License in Massage Therapy.
• Proficiency in Deep Tissue, Swedish, Sports, etc.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to explain the "Why" behind your techniques.
• Ability to work peak hours (evenings and weekends) when our community needs recovery most.

Responsibilities

• Personalize sessions based on intake, learning guests' sauna/plunge experience, goals, and emotional state.
• Coordinate with Guest Service Coordinators to ensure a seamless transition from bathhouse to massage room.
• Explain how massage complements hot and cold therapy, including effects on vasodilation and lymphatic drainage.
• Maintain the massage room sanctuary: cleanliness, sensory consistency (lighting, scent, sound), and organization.
• Provide post-session guidance on hydration, rest, and next-step recovery.
