Job summary

Stanislaus County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services is seeking qualified candidates for Clinical Services Technician I/II. The CST provides intake and input for diagnostic impressions, supports treatment planning, and fosters a recovery-oriented environment.

Roles range from supervised entry-level to more independent journey-level positions with potential promotion after one year. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• All applicants must possess a BLS CPR for Healthcare Providers.
• Two years of full-time related experience in mental health, substance abuse, or social service agency providing direct services.
• Equivalent of 30 semester units of college coursework in a behavioral science or related field; or 15 semester units plus related experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete intake information on patient/client.
• Provide input for the development of diagnostic impressions.
• Observe patient/client behavior and respond to crisis, anxiety, panic or other states.
• Assist in formulating problem/strength lists and treatment plans under supervision.
• Encourage participation in social and recreational activities and provide direction.
• Monitor patient status and report findings to the therapy support staff.
• Observe and record vital signs and signs of withdrawal.
• Assist patients with Assisted Daily Living and adhere to policies and procedures.
