Job summary

The State of North Carolina - Judicial Branch is seeking a Court Coordinator (S) for Judicial District 36, Catawba County. The role manages all Recovery Court activities, handles referrals, conducts intakes, and facilitates sessions across different courts.

You will prepare dockets, pursue funding, and coordinate services for participants’ housing, education, and transportation needs. Applicants should have a human services degree with relevant experience or an equivalent combination, plus

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in a human services field and one year of human services experience; or an associate degree with three years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in applying court policies.
• Experience in addictions, treatment, or monitoring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all activities for a Recovery Court program within the district.
• Receive client referrals and coordinate referrals for assessments and services.
• Conduct intake interviews and facilitate staffing and court sessions.
• Prepare dockets, materials and reports for court and teams.
• Pursue outside funding and coordinate services across agencies.
• Plan graduation ceremonies and coordinate housing, entitlements, education and transportation needs.
