Job summary

North Carolina Courts is seeking a qualified Adult Recovery Court Coordinator for Judicial District 36 in Catawba County. The role handles a full caseload, receives referrals, conducts intake, and coordinates assessments and services for participants within the Recovery Court program.

The position requires scheduling flexibility, travel within the district, and the ability to foster collaboration among court staff, treatment providers, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college or university in a human services field and one year of related experience.
• Or an associate degree in a human services field with three years of equivalent experience.
• Management prefers a BS/BA in public or court administration with two years in addictions or related field.
• Ability to exercise judgment in applying and interpreting court policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage all activities for a Recovery Court program within the district.
• Full caseload management, client referrals, and intake interviews.
• Prepare dockets, materials and reports for court and teams.
• Coordinate services among housing, entitlements, education, transportation and job training.
• Travel across the district as required.
