Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• CADC and related credentials preferred.
• Strong counseling and crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to complete documentation and case notes per standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other essential documentation.
• Provide patients with orientation to program objectives, phase requirements, rules, and patient rights.
• Assess and place patients according to treatment phases and standards.
• Maintain clinical documentation and charts per policies.
• Counsel patients in crisis situations and connect them to resources.
• Refer patients to community agencies and other resources when appropriate.
• Participate in case conferences and reviews.
• Develop knowledge of federal/state regulations regarding confidentiality and treatment.
• Submit internal and external correspondence for supervisor review.
• Complete intakes, facilitate group counseling sessions, and collect drug screens.
