Job summary

Gosnold, Inc. in Wareham, MA seeks a Counselor to perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual and group counseling. The role requires knowledge of addiction treatment and evidence-based practices, with shift 7a-3p and pay $24-$30 hourly plus weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of one year supervised counseling experience in substance use disorder treatment or closely related field; Bachelor's degree in counseling or related field may substitute for experience.
• Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills; Computer literacy and working familiarity with technology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments including level of care appropriateness, risks, and strengths.
• Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans and continuing care plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling and psycho-educational sessions.
• Coordinate care with other professionals and family as needed.
• Maintain documentation per Gosnold policy and regulatory standards.
• Respond to supervision and work professionally with patients.
