Muir Wood is a leading provider of residential behavioral health treatment for adolescents ages 12–17. We operate 17 Joint Commission-accredited programs across California, including locations in Sonoma County, Clovis, and Riverside. Our programs specialize in treating mental health and substance use disorders, offering a safe, structured, and compassionate environment that supports long-term healing for teens and their families. Each campus integrates individualized therapy, family systems work, and accredited education, all grounded in clinical excellence and a deep commitment to whole-family recovery.
The Recovery Counselor is responsible for providing counseling and therapeutic clinical services to patients, providing counseling and linkage assistance within a residential environment, including responsibilities maintaining the program milieu. Additionally, responsible for the overall operation of the facility in accordance with policies and procedures, current federal, state and local standards, including guidelines and regulations governing our facility to assure that our facility is maintained in a safe manner. This is a full-time, onsite position, Sunday - Thursday, from 9am - 6pm with flexibility to work weekends.
