Job summary

Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a Community Health Specialist III (Recovery Supports) to expand recovery-oriented services across Logan and Mason Counties. You will collaborate with partners, lead initiatives, secure funding, and shape systems that promote wellness and long-term recovery.

Requirements include a Bachelor's with 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's with 2 years, plus relevant certifications (CPS/CRSS/CPRS/CADC) and 10 years of lived or professional experience in mental

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with five years of relevant experience or Master's with two years of relevant experience.
Active certifications: CPS, CRSS, CPRS, CADC.
Ten years of lived or professional experience in mental health/recovery services or related fields.
Knowledge of recovery principles, community capacity building, program development, and evaluation methods.
Experience with grant writing, grant management, and budgeting preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage complex projects and collaborations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to travel throughout the service area and have reliable home internet.

Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate recovery support programs, trainings, events, and initiatives.
Lead community groups and coalitions; facilitate meetings and recruit participants.
Build partnerships with stakeholders and community leaders and manage grant budgets.
Conduct needs assessments and use data to guide planning and improvements.
Prepare program and grant reports and ensure timely data submission.
Mentor and train staff, interns, and partners; lead advocacy efforts.
