Centerstone is seeking a full-time clinical staff member in Columbus, Indiana, to provide individual and group counseling services. This role involves engaging clients to explore substance use and mental health while aiding them in setting treatment goals.
Candidates should preferably have a Bachelor's degree in psychology or social work, with experience in behavioral health being highly valued. This position supports the mission of delivering transformative care to the communities we serve.

Provides evidence-based individual and group clinical interventions both in the office and community settings to develop trusting relationships with clients. Engage with clients so that they may more freely discuss substance use and its effects on mental and physical health and daily functioning. Aid clients in setting their own goals for treatment, as well as plans to reduce or abstain from substance use and to learn healthy coping skills. Build rapport and a therapeutic relationship with clients to introduce them to all the elements of a healthy recovery.
Education Level Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred, preferably in psychology, social work, or a related field. Experience equivalency considered in place of education requirement. Years of Experience Experience working and/or volunteering within the behavioral health, criminal justice, or social services field can be considered in place of degree. Personal experience with recovery from substances is helpful, but not required.
