Wise Path Recovery Centers in Morgantown, WV seeks a Peer Recovery Support Specialist to join our Camp Baer location. This role focuses on non-clinical, recovery-oriented support using lived experience to empower individuals in early recovery.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to remove barriers and connect clients to community resources. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, a commitment to confidentiality, and the ability to document professionally in electronic systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• West Virginia PRSS certification required or ability to obtain before providing services.
• Must maintain certification in good standing.
• Ability to complete required training and background checks.

Responsabilités

• Build trusting, professional relationships with patients.
• Provide recovery-focused support using lived experience.
• Assist patients in identifying recovery goals and resources.
• Connect patients with community recovery supports and mutual-aid groups.
• Collaborate with clinical and recovery staff to support treatment plans.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely as per policy.
