Monte Nido Vista, located in Agoura Hills, CA, is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Our treatment approach focuses on restoring physiological and nutritional balance, implementing healthy eating and exercise routines, eliminating harmful behaviors, and developing motivation and engagement in treatment. Our goal is to help each client understand their disorder and its impact on their life, as well as to foster an individualized path to recovery.

We are seeking per diem Recovery Coaches to join the Monte Nido team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in mental health and the eating disorder field!

Weekend availability is required.

Salary: $21-$24/hr

Responsibilities Include

• Support clients through their recovery journey as a key team member.
• Provide support and intervention in line with the client’s treatment plan.
• Encourage clients to develop healthy connections with others in the milieu and the team.
• Assist with food preparation and set-up; model and supervise client meals and snacks.
• Participate in therapeutic groups and develop skills to promote growth.
• Conduct rounds and observations.
• Occasionally drive clients to off-site appointments and activities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of post-high school education; Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is highly desired (and required in some states).
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Strong communication and client relations skills; service-oriented; flexible; team player.
