Mount Rogers Community Services is seeking staff to provide support and training in a short-term crisis stabilization unit, addressing mental health and substance use recovery needs. You will develop individualized plans, lead group sessions, and ensure accurate documentation for regulatory compliance.

Provide support and training to adults in a short-term, sub-acute crisis stabilization unit that provides both residential crisis stabilization and medically managed withdrawal services. Responsible for developing and implementing intervention strategies, as well as leading individual and group support classes to assist in recovery. Provide education, empowerment, and support to the individuals in the unit who are addressing mental health, co-occuring, or detox needs. Collect data and provide accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards. Will provide crisis intervention services as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Human Services field required.
Knowledge of mental illness/substance abuse symptomology and experience working with individuals with mental health and substance abuse disabilities.
Must meet Board of Health Professions registration requirements for QMHP (Adult or Adult-Trainee. Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
