Job summary

Bradford Health Services in Texas seeks a Clinician (Primary Counselor) to deliver comprehensive treatment in a PHP setting. You will assess, plan, and provide individual and group therapy, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery.

Requirements include a Master’s in a behavioral health field and active Texas licensure. Experience in substance use/behavioral health and credentialed documentation is essential. This role offers professional growth within a licensed program.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Active Texas clinical license (LPC, LPC-Associate, LCDC, LCDC-I, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LMFT-Associate).
• Minimum of two years of experience with behavioral health, trauma, mental health, or substance use disorders.
• Experience providing individual counseling, treatment planning, and case management services.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and ASAM placement criteria.
• Valid Texas driver's license.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong written, verbal, and computer proficiency including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments using DSM-5 and ASAM criteria.
• Develop and regularly update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling using evidence-based approaches.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups; maintain clinical documentation.
• Complete weekly progress notes, treatment records, and discharge summaries.
• Provide crisis intervention and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, admissions staff, and external providers.
• Maintain HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, Joint Commission, HHSC compliance; policies.
• Attend staff meetings, supervision, trainings, and quality initiatives.
