Job summary

Porter-Starke Services in Valparaiso, IN seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to recommend and oversee medical policies for the Recovery Center within the Opiate Treatment Program. You will ensure client safety and coordinate care with providers in a CMHC setting.

Ideal candidates hold Indiana RN licensure, have experience in psychiatric or substance use nursing, and are prepared for a comprehensive benefits package including sign-on bonus and education support.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana license as a Registered Nurse; a bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Experience in psychiatric and/or substance abuse nursing preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with health care professionals and provides necessary care.
• Reviews client’s medication supplies and setup.
• Reviews and documents client response to medication and health status.
• Assesses physical health and coordinates care with physicians.
• Conducts client education programs on health and wellness.
