Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Behavioral Health, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Two or more years’ related experience in healthcare business development and marketing role preferred.
• Good understanding of the local market and referral base.
• Organized and able to multitask with strong relational skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, early mornings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements business development programs in consultation with the Director of Business Development (DBD).
• Maintains a schedule of primary sources including business, industry, EAPs, managed care, physicians and allied health professionals.
• Documents every contact in the CRM system and maintains account data and statistics.
• Develops and maintains new account relationships and markets; creates strategies for increasing business in competitive markets.
• Increases referrals with physicians, social workers, and discharge planners; builds strong relationships with key sources.
• Maintains targeted referral source contacts per week, per quarterly plan; conducts community workshops and facility tours.
