Job summary

Gosnold, Inc. is seeking a Recovery Aide for a 40-hour, 3pm-11pm shift serving Wareham and surrounding communities. The role acts as a liaison between staff, patients, and families, assisting with recovery activities and maintaining safety in a behavioral health setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma, experience or training in addiction or mental health, and comfort speaking to groups. CPR certification is preferred, with some weekend coverage and ability to travel between

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1–3 years in addiction or mental health; strong customer service and ability to handle high-stress environments.
• Willing to cover multiple shifts, including weekends.
• Comfort speaking in front of larger groups.

Responsibilities

• Monitor high-risk patients and aid in group participation, reporting outcomes to supervisors.
• Conduct specialty groups and document attendance in EMR.
• Track program evaluations and report data to leadership.
• Relate and communicate effectively with patients in a treatment setting.
• Support counseling team and assist in individual meetings.
• Uphold Gosnold’s values and maintain appropriate boundaries.
